Terms of Service

1) Acceptance of Terms

By installing, inviting, or using the BDO Alerts Discord bot (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) Description of Service

The Service provides Black Desert Online utility features, including world boss alerts, reset timers, event scheduling, welcome messages, reaction roles, and automated cleanup. Features may evolve over time.

3) Eligibility

You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and any applicable community or server rules to use the Service.

4) Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not use the Service to harass, spam, or violate any law or regulation.
• Comply with third‑party rights and game publisher policies for Black Desert Online.

5) Accounts & Permissions

By inviting the bot, you grant it the permissions requested during setup. Server administrators are responsible for reviewing and limiting permissions according to their needs.

6) Data and Privacy

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also agree to that policy.

7) Availability & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for outages, data loss, or feature changes.

8) Third‑Party Services

The Service may rely on third‑party sources (e.g., websites that publish boss timers). We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party content or availability.

9) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BDO Alerts and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BDO Alerts and its contributors from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12) Termination

We may restrict or remove access to the Service for any reason, including violations of these Terms or abuse reports.

13) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts with appropriate jurisdiction.
